Recently I got the chance to do some pattern testing for Muffy Duck Design on a fitted pram liner for Bugaboo Chameleon/Buffalo prams (all versions!) and I’ve got to say I LOVE IT!
I’ve got a fairly ancient 1st Gen Chameleon… in grey (nothing against grey, I usually love it, but babies are bright and bubbly and grey just isn’t them). It also came with a navy colour pack but thats not that much more exciting. Add a funky pram liner into the mix and it looks so much better now! It’s almost as good as new … only BETTER!
Heres the before and after shot.
It’s fully reversible which allows for lots of combos once sewn up. I used red fleece for my reverse side to keep it nice and snuggly in cooler weather but I can also leave the strap covers and belly bar cover the wild side out for that extra POP!
It was a really easy to follow pattern with full step-by-step instructions. It was a simple sew and came together pretty quick. It’s fully fitted and includes a non-slip hood or tabs (depending on which pram version your sewing for) and an under-seat strap so it will stay in place no matter how much your bub wiggles around!
I’ve also got to mention how much I LOVE this fabric! I previously used it for some replacement car seat strap pads and some simple crib bumpers from when she was tiny but now I get to show it off in all its glory! I reminds me of some of the Disney’s “It’s a Small World” concept art my Mary Blair which I find fascinating and completely fitting seeming as we are going to Disney Land Paris next week! AND the prams coming too so get to show it off everywhere!
